As an interfaith minister, I respect the rights of all people to believe as they choose. Many people today have chosen not to be yoked to a particular church or belief system, but still want a spiritual connection in their wedding ceremony. Maybe you have issues with your own church. Maybe this isn't your first wedding. Some couples have differing beliefs, which provides an opportunity to blend a part of each of you into your ceremony.
